Intel processors provide stability and speed, combined with the best compatibility with other components. You can choose from a variety of available processors, Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 sandy bridge quad core processor. Other manufacturers only offer underpreforming mobile processors, as always, E3iO offers the best processors normally find in desktops.

The motherboards used in our Car PC are Mini-ITX form factor, small enough for a Car-PC but with performance comparable to a desktop computer. It has all the features of a standard PC, USB 3.0 slots, SATA3, HDMI, 7.1 audio and the same processors that are used in desktop, even with better performance than those used in laptop or tablet PC.

Double DIN Size & 7" Touch Panel

The size meets the standard double DIN 4"x 7" with a depth of 8 ¼" harboring a 7" Touch Screen TFT LCD monitor that supports resolutions from 800x480 to 1920x1080 with a viewing angle of 120°/140° (H / V) HDMI. It also supports two auxiliary RCA video inputs and a remote control to change certain settings.

This Car PC has two different integrated audio systems, 4 stereo outputs 50W per channel amplifier specifically designed to connect directly to the speakers of the vehicle, and another set of unamplified audio supporting 7.1 CH HD THX TruStudio PRO ™

Navigation System

Connectivity

You can install any navigation system compatible with Windows OS, like CoPilot Live, Centrafuse Frontend, Microsoft Streets & Trips, DeLorme Streets Atlas and many other. Some of these system comes with many features such as, Real-Time Traffic, Speed Camera Warnings, Multi -Stop Route Planning, Navigate to GPS Coordinates, etc.

Connect your system to multiple devices using USB, with this Car PC you can also connect to external hard drives via eSATA. It has Ethernet connection 1 Gb/s RJ45, wireless connection Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Plus it support USB Webcams, rear cameras, iPod even your OBD II Interface and more.

The system has integrated Bluetooth with which you can connect your smartphone to stream music and make and receive hands-free calls, we also include a microphone so you can use your phone with by just listening through the speakers of your vehicle and talking normally, you will see all calls incoming or outgoing, import your contacts and make calls without touching your phone.

Front end Software

You can install Front end software,These programs can collect in a familiar and easy enviroment all the functions that a user commonly require. The most popular front end software are, Centrafuse auto and RideRunner(Free).
These softwares are designed to let you operate your Car-PC easily with the touch screen, with a nice interface intuitively and visually pleasing. E3iO tested the Car-PC with Centrafuse Auto and RideRunner to ensure that the software works correctly with the Car PC. Among the features offered are:

Play video from external USB DVD or Blue-Ray, also can play VCD files from the hard drive.

Real time monitoring of webcam and/or DVR video feeds, & can be reason enough to install a webcam or DVR.

Note: We recommend a wifi hotspot, to establish a constant internet connection using a mobile phone or a mobile hotspot device.

At this time we have a single option of a double din in the Car-PC, E3iO is working on other projects with different options that we will publish later.

Important Notes:

E3iO test their systems with Centrafuse front end software but is not being included with their custom systems anymore because of Centrafuse policies, if you want to incorporate Centrafuse in your Car PC you must purchase the software directly from Centrafuse website.
The Car PC system is a Double DIN standard size but has a depth of 9" Please check if your dash meets these dimensions before buying.
The Car PC system is not car stereo, is a computer optimized to perform the features of a car stereo and you should be conscious to use the system like a computer not like a car stereo.
